Taking Our Country Back

For a long time now, our country has been run by those who have endlessly given monetary donations and other related items to our citizens, such as food and medicine. Our economy has been heavily indebted to these countries rather than progress forward. The politics of the day has not helped much as these “borrowed debts” have just ended up in the pockets of a few with many suffering.

The rate of unemployment has greatly increased over the years and the pandemic of COVID-19 has not made things any better. The per capita incomes have greatly been affected with many resorting to travel upcountry just to survive. Our Gross Domestic Product has been as if only a few people work in our country with a majority having nothing but time. Time to waste. Time to sit. Time to just wait, wait for the end to come.

As Luther Jr. puts it, so will we echo the same:

“Freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor ; it must be demanded by the oppressed”.

Henry’s Care Quotes-from Martin Luther King Jr.

Let us not subscribe to financial neo-colonialism from our “donors”. It is not us the citizens that have placed our country in debt, rather the politics of the day. It has corrupted all the cash and kept choice goods for the players. There is good news, the good news that we can do something about it. We can work hard and improve our individual incomes, in the process, we shall improve societal incomes and in the end, we shall improve our GDP. Our country will in a couple of years take itself back. We the people, shall take back our country.

We can do it. Let us do it. Let us begin now.
